It is time again for the United States Census which takes place every 10 years. The Census is important because it determines how Congressional representation is determined as well as how hundreds of billions of federal dollars will be allocated. The Census is a snapshot of who we are, where we live, and so much more. The results determine the need for new schools, roads, and more services for families, oler adults, and children.
Many people don’t realize how important the Census is. This is why we at Mental Health America of Southwestern PA have created the following video to show you how to fill out the Census. By filling out the Census it will help get a more accurate count of who lives in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and the United States.
