In our region there are many providers of mental health and substance use services. It is not possible to list them all, but here are a few of the most critical contacts:
Behavioral health managed care for those with Medical Assistance For Allegheny or Green County, visit Community Care Behavioral Health at ccbh.com. For other Southwestern PA counties, contact Carelon Health of Pennsylvania at pa.carelon.com. Contact numbers specific to each county are listed.
If you have private insurance, you may want to contact the “mental health and substance abuse” number on the back of your insurance card. This will provide you with a list of providers of mental health services that are approved in your plan.
Pennsylvania 211 Service
PA 211 Southwest is part of the national 211 Call Centers initiative that seeks to provide an easy-to-remember telephone number and web resource for finding health and human services, including local crisis lines. Call 2-1-1 or visit pa211sw.org.
