Part-Time, Seasonal Independent Monitor.

 

 

Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q)

Part-Time, seasonal, flexible schedule

The Independent Monitor is responsible for surveying individuals receiving Westmoreland County Developmental Disabilities services regarding the services they are receiving, primarily using the National Core Indicators instrument. Individual surveys are conducted in teams of two. Family members are also then surveyed. Surveys are conducted in residential and non-residential settings, as well as remotely at the participant’s discretion. Travel as needed to residence or non-residential settings to conduct the survey. Mileage reimbursed at Federal rate. Pay rate is $14.00 per hour.

 

WORKING HOURS

There are no standard working hours for the Independent Monitor, and no guarantee of a specific number of hours per week. Working hours will be determined by the number of interviews scheduled, and the time that the interview is most convenient for the individual to be interviewed. Consequently, the Independent Monitor must be available to conduct interviews during “normal business hours”, as well as occasional weekends or evenings.

 

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent; Must have a Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Applicants may have direct experience with behavioral health or disability services, personally or through a family member, may be college students or community members. Familiarity with human services and interviewing techniques beneficial. Ability to use or learn technology to conduct surveys by Zoom required. EOE.
