Behavioral Health (Patient) Advocate

 
 

External Advocate at Torrance State Hospital

Full-time position, 37.5 hours/week                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      $36,500.00 - $38,000.00 per year

The External Advocate is to assist mental health consumers at Torrance State Hospital and their families with complaints and consultations pertaining to human rights. All activities of the Advocate will be at the request and/or endorsement of the consumer or the family, with the exception of systemic violations of rights, or where the consumer is unaware of a rights violation.
